The pileated woodpecker is about the size of a crow, so quite a large bird to be drilling into your trees. This one was digging into my pecan trees this morning. Last week, I went to the Middle Georgia Camera Club's meeting. They were practicing shooting smoke, water, and shadows. Here are a couple of my favorites.
This odd poster is mounted high upon the wall of a building in Macon. I can only assume that it was once part of some advertising for a business that has long since disappeared.
I have taken a similar shot of this building before, but the lovely blue skies urged me to do the same again.
