HOT HOT HOT

Yesterday was the first day of summer....and the temperature hit 100 degrees! Today wasn't any better...101. We did have an afternoon shower come by about 5:00pm which cooled it down to 94, if you call that cool. The rain only lasted a few minutes, just enough to settle the dust...but we will take any that we can get.

Today, a level one drought emergency was issued...which means that in addition to the regular alternating days for any outdoor watering, now there is no watering to be done during the hot part of the day (10:00 till 4:00). If the drought continues, the number of days available for irrigating will be cut to two, then none.
