After hiking the rim trail at Providence Canyon State Park, lugging my camera, lenses, and tripod...I discovered that I had forgotten to get the camera battery out of the charger at home. So, I whipped out my cellphone and used an effects app on it to grab a few shots...then a few regular photos from the cellphone's camera.
These old cars were abandoned many years before the park was created. Now, they are just oddities in the forest.
A collection of events-of-the-day, random thoughts, observations, photos, and/or reflective moments which may or may not make any sense or be entertaining.

Gibb's Gardens
Bonnie and I took off for Ball Ground, north of Atlanta, to see Gibb's Gardens. It was terrific! For the past 40 years, this was a private work of passion and art by Jim Gibbs. He opened it up to the public this year. We ran into him and chatted for 10 minutes or so. He was so friendly!
There is a rose garden, the largest Japanese garden in the USA, and a large hydrangea and rhododendron garden open right now....along with the area around the Manor House, where he still lives!
In the spring of the year, there are over 10 acres of daffodils in bloom (they planted over 3 million of them, and every year, they multiply on their own!)
We will be back!
