Signed up for a course at JCCFS

The John C. Campbell Folk School of Brasstown, NC will be where I am at next March....so long as the class makes, which I would think that it would, although I am the first person to sign up for it.

I am going to take weeklong dulcimer construction class during the last week of March. The text of the course description is below:

Build and Learn to Play a Mountain Dulcimer
• Instructor: Mark Edelman

Build a basic teardrop-shaped mountain dulcimer
using power tools. Complete instruction will be
given; no prior woodworking experience is
necessary. After finishing the dulcimers, students
will be instructed in the basics of tuning, as well
as simple rhythm and timing, while learning to
play several songs. Come prepared to work most
evenings due to the amount of construction
time involved.
