My mother had to go to hospital yesterday with chest and arm pains. The doctors have initially said that it doesn't look like she had a heart attack...but after looking at her EKG, x-rays, and other tests; they wanted to keep her there yesterday and last night. More tests today.
She is in good spirits and says that she doesn't think it is anything terribly serious, but does want to find out what is causing the pains.
The really bad part is that she checked into the hospital yesterday....on her 60th birthday! How sad....although the nurses did give her a second piece of chocolate cake with dinner, she said.
