THE LOCAL LITTLE LEAGUE TEAM WINS THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!
The team from just down the road in Warner Robins, beat the team from Tokyo, Japan to win the 2007 Little League World Championship. This is the second year in a row that a team from Georgia has won the top spot. The score was tied at 2-2 for four innings, then a long drive that sailed over the wall to clench the victory with a homerun. Congratulations to all of the players on both teams for winning their own national championships, and especially to the local kids for their World Championship!
