A bit of white on a gray day

The rain from Tropical Storm Fay continues to fall as bands of the storm pass. We get about 30 minutes of rain, then 30 minutes of wind, followed by the rain again. I am sure that the egret doesn't mind having his fishing hole filled again. The recent drought has made it tough for most all of the wading birds.

Sure wish some of that rain would come our way...glad at least Florida is getting it. This is a nice shot of one of my favorite birds. You are among a growing number who are posting camera settings. I really appreciate the info. Perhaps I should start doing too...

Well, I don't always post the settings; but when I remember I do. I think it helps me later on when I look at the images to see what works and why....or maybe more importantly, what didn't work, and why.
