First Daffodils

The first daffodils have began to bloom here in Middle Georgia. Soon, we will be in a sea of yellows, whites, and oranges. These were spotted in my friends Joe and Jane's yard today.

When we lived in Kansas, I was always excited to see the crocus and then later the jonquils and tulips as sure signs that winter was over. While I am not saying that it was always accurate, I do think that this is a good sign for an early spring this year here.

Or at least that is what I am hoping for!

Gosh, you're the second blog I've read this morning speaking of spring coming. It must be so! I know you are waiting with baited breath for it :-)

Wow that is unbelievable. I noticed just the tips poking through some leaves yesterday but it'll still be another month before they're here in middle TN. I can't wait.
