Wild Weather

Ok, so who can figure out this crazy weather. On Saturday, the high was 73 degrees and there were tornado warnings in the adjacent county, and the very next day (yesterday), we had an inch of snow on the ground here at my house, and up to 5 inches in some places. I can't wait to see what today will bring!

Actually, the snow wasn't that heavy and it didn't freeze up on the roads too much, so school probably could have gone on; but I suppose it is best to play it safe. Afterall, people down here in the South get snow so rarely, that they just do not know how to drive on ice, nor does the county have the equipment to clear the roads and bridges of ice.

Enjoy your free day! I had a tough time getting good snow photos. It's not something I've ever had to do in Macon, Georgia LOL

Enjoyed the snow picture. Would have been very disappointed if you had not posted a snow picture.
As far as driving crazy, one of the lake wildwood residents ended up having to have their car towed from our little lake early on.

Lovely photo. I can imagine how exciting it is to get snow when you rarely do.

We were supposed to get at least 8 inches and up to 14...we got only about 5 and the roads were cleared by noon. Areas not too far south of me did get slammed though.
